Does anyone happen to have their front shocks out of their LUV truck? I need to know the extended length, and compressed lengths.

use any set of 90/10 shocks foe a 1969 camero, all you have to do is cut off the frame mounting tabs and your there. Pretty close to factory length.

I have had very good luck with them. The hard part is getting them ballanced out with driver so it does not wiggle down the road.

Paradox.sorry i should have asked if you are drag racing ! because 90/10 are not to street friendly, for the street i would run a KYB gas very -very good street shock

I used shocks from my 1966 Nova. they were Comp engineering 3 way adjustable 90/10 70/30 50/50 and bought a shock extender kit from Jegs High Performance. shocks are like $25-30 each and the shock extenders were like $15. but if Camaro shocks are longer then i would just go buy them and skip the extenders. I run them set at 90/10 on the street all the time with no problems.

I just bought a 79 luv for $200 and would like to have some sugestions on how to lift it for cheep. A friend of mine sugested taking the rear axel and mooving it so that the leaf springs sit on top of it rather than under it. Is this a good ideah? Any sugestions on the frunt?
