My wires are all messed up for all my lights and switches. I hate electrical. with a passion. Could i just run a main wire off my battery and to a fusible link and then to a switch to turn on my lights and wipers, ect. Would that work?

i don't see why not. be sure to unhook the old wires. you don't want to be sending power back up the line if it's got a short or something.
