does any one know if there is a tint that is not double side that is not hard to work with i tried like six different kinds and i end up f##ken taring it off because i either sticks together or when i am done it bubbles or where up cut around the top of the window it makes a shi**y looking cut some one one has to have this happen and know what i am talking about. or a secert to doing tinting i even tried to take the window out to get a straight cut i found a static cling tint witch suck to well if any one can help me thank you

I had similar issues doing mine last weekend.

After screwing up the first attempt, I made a template out of carboard. Once I was happy it was the right size I used it to cut out the film. Perfect fit.

As far as it sticking to itself, I used the Gilla(?) spray bottle sollution, and as I was peeling away the liner, I sprayed the inner sticky layer while I pulled away the outside. Worked like a charm.

Only other tip: make sure you leave enuff film at the bottom of the door glass to extend below the inner door seal, if you can, remove that seal before installing the film, one less thing in the way.

FIAA: Color Guard

The tint I have used in the passed has a clear layer on it that needs to be pulled off before you put it on the window. Kind of like a sticker backing. A lot of people don't know about this and thats why they have HUGE air bubbles.
Also clean the window with soapy water and a razor blade first.

It takes patience. If you are aggravated put it all away for another day.

I used to do it myself when I was in high school years ago, but the last couple of times,I took my F250 and my wife's car and spent the $100 at the tint shop.
