I have a new wiring harness 5two position switches and a GM one wire alternator, its time to get pissed off... :lol:

Finally had tme to rewire the LUV. Only problem i ran into was the ignition, i dont know if my electronic set up was finally going bad or the harness isnt set up for that style but it wouldnt run with the electronic set up. So im back to points for the time being untill i can investigate the matter further. As far as the harness, the painless kits are awsome, i could have had it done in a weekend. But im on leave and dont feel like moving fast so it took me 4 days :lol:

good to hear... my son will be here soon and we are putting in a G200 gm tilt column and painless rewire...so it shouldnt take long then , i am glad

The painless kit is very easy. And they are very friendly and helpful, if you call them with any questions. Just keep your old Luv harness for things you will need to install the painless kit. :lol: :lol:

I actually didnt use anything from the factory LUV wiring. If you plan on using the factory dash switches then youll probly want to keep those conectors. But i put in togles for everything so i didnt have to retain andything...
