I would be carefull. I bought my hood from these guys and was not happy. I got the L88 hood and it had a lot of defects. Maybe i was just unlucky though. Hopefully you will have better luck than i did. Just my 2 cents.

im not trying to argue with you guys or anything, just wanted to let Whole_lotta_luv know that I did buy a bumper from them and am happy with it, other than it took over a month to get because they had to make it.

UP22, the hood on ebay out of tx, and a place in North Carolina is the only place I've found that has hoods, with UP22 being the only one that bolts on. If anyone knows of another place, do tell. Harwood, VFN, GLasstek, Hairy Glass, US body Source All say NO.

Not wanting to hijack a thead but I looked into purchasing the fiberglass cowl scoop only and just putting it on my 77 but found to get 4" high or higher the entire scoop itself is 40+" which is longer than we have avaliable to mount a scoop on the stock luv hood.

Mine is the 4" cowl and it was the long one. I just cut it to fit and you cant tell the difference. :D

Did you cut off some the front or back?

Please give me a brief run through on how you attached it to your hood.

Thanks.

I cut mine off of the back and used good old fashioned pop rivets. Probably spend the cash for a real one when paint becomes a priority.

You got a picture of that?

I have scoured ebay in the past 2 weeks hunting for a good looking scoop of some sort. I am really torn between a typical 3-4" cowel and something more exotic like this:

Corvette scoop
