JUST BOUGHT 2 OF THEM ONE FOR ME AND THE OTHER FOR A BUDDY.
PERFORMANCE AUTO TRAILERS IN MESQUITE TEXAS...(OUTSIDE OF DALLAS) 214-324-0602 TALK TO HARRY. $500 FOR 2. 6" COWL LIGHT WEIGHT FIBERGLASS. ALL I DID WAS SOME REINFORCING ON THE BACK SIDE ABOUT $25 IN MATERIALS...FIT GREAT AND LOOKS GOOD..I WILL GET SOME PICS UP SOON. IT IS THE SAME GUY THAT IS SELLING THEM ON EBAY RIGHT NOW.

I called them when they first started selling on ebay. Available in pin on only guys. :cry:

it would be very easy to epoxy or glass the factory hinge mounts to the under side and for the latch as well....
my front clip on the luv is all factory steel . but i also can ramove it with 6 1/4" bolts.takes about 5 min to do. that is the only reason for the lift off hood......ingenuity... is all it takes shipped to my door the other vendors wanted over $500 for one.

This company has a bolt on model ranging from 2 1/4"-6". They also have the l-88 and front bumpers

I wanted to be a lil different so I made my cowl hood. I also put the cowl as close as possible to the windshield, looks pretty good.

Here's the only good pic I have from the side, before the truck was redone again, lol
