other than cranken' on the T-bars, and using long shackles on the rear..no there are no other "bolt on" suspension lifts for these trucks.

Any decent 4x4 shop should be able to whip up a straight axle/leaf spring swap for ya. Probably wont be cheap though.

It's a 2X4, I wanna lift it like 4 inches, nothing super fancy. I just want it to look nice and ride good. I plan to take it to the desert so I want ot to be able to handle everything I throw at it. Do you know about how much something like that would cost?

like bugguy28 said for a 4"lift you can get a body lift and crank the bars up in the front and put a block in the rear to level the truck that will be the cheapest way for the 4" lift ----and where did you get your body lift bugguy28 that will help me as well thanks  :P

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! please don't buy a 4" body lift! as soon as you even think about hitting so much as a speed bump with that it's going to shift your cab/bed. that much body lift is not a good idea and in some states (Wa for example) is ILLEGAL!!! it's illegal for a reason, cus as soon as you are hit, or you hit something, your cab is VERY prone to go sailing across the highway. just do a 2" AT MOST. I don't have a problem with body lifts if that's your only option (i did it to my s-10 and still have it on) but there should never be a reason to cheat yourself out of looks and functionality by getting more than a 2" body lift, i don't mean to sound like an a$$hole, because that's not what i'm going for, but i am giving fair warning to at least check your local laws about it, and further more the SAFETY issues behind going that high. because in reality all you are gaining with a body lift is a little larger tire, so in turn you'll get a slight bit more rgound clearance (AT MOST 2"-3" extra after tires) but your suspension will still act the same, that is if you leave the torsion bars alone. jsut hold out, maybe do some research on SAS's and look into options of doing that. i'm not saying EVERYONE should do it, but you are really limited as to suspension mods on these LUVs for lifting. but i think it can be done cheaper than you think with a little DYI.

SAS Break down...

Axle $100
spring hanger(prefabbed) $100
rear spring hanger $40
Shackles $50
springs $100
D-line $150 (this depends on a lot though)

It can Easily be done by yourself for less than $1000 but i also understand that not everyone has the equipment and place and experience to do one. so it can get expensive.

I unfortunatly have that into just the axle on my s-10

but anyways, that's my super long rant for the day on body lifts.

sorry to go on and on....

oh btw another good place for body lifts is 4WheelParts

no that is what this site is all about we all give our opinion and you make your mind up and if you wont to make it a 4x4 then call as many shops as needed to get the right prices and if you decide to have the shop that i am talking about it is a little drive for you but they you very good but it is up to you i would go no more than a 3" body like it is only for tire clearance but just call around all n all do alot of re search that free and then go from there

i'm not saying it's WRONG i'm just saying to be careful  and i don't think that doing just that with your luv is wrong either, because everyone has different wants/needs out of their rig. i just would look into doing a SAS if i was wanting to get really into it, but if that's all you're doing then by all means go with it, it WILL be the best choice for you. 8) i'll get a pic of mine up here soon for ya too

EDIT:

here you go! this be my LUV!
