hey guys. im about to notch the back of my luv. what size notch do these need to lay 22's in the rear. i have measured and i think around 6 inchs should be fine but i just want to find out what you guys who are bagged have used. dont want to go any bigger than i need to.

i used an 8 and its close on 20s..

oh ok i may just go for an 8 then to be safe.nah no pics so far. its fully shaved and in primer now ready for paint.and lowered around 7 inchs in the rear and 4 in the front.about to notch and do a commodore v6 conversion which is the same as your buick but im in australia

sweet i did the v6 swap and found out when im fully layd out the oil pan hangs aboput 1" lower than the frame so i gota raise my motor 1" dont know how yalls oil pand are but might be something to check out

ohk cheers for the info man. only rear will be bagged until im confident enough with whats goin on in the front and save up the money to do it. when bagging the rear did you have to lift anything? only thing i can see that will be to low is the tailshaft crossmember

oh ok cheers. i was thinkin i will just shave the bottom off it or maybe put a new one in. do you have any problems without it in there?

naw notne so far....jus make sire the bridge is a good strong piece and ull be fine
