Wondering if anyone has sucessfully installed one with single bulb park lamp and single tail light with two filament bulb. My problem is I got park lights and blinkers in rear, but can't seem to hook up brake lights. And the front I got blinkers but when I hook up the park light wire they both stay on and don't blink?[/img]

Tried it on two different ones same problem. The wiring diagram shows it with 3 lights in the rear and 2 lights in front on each side, I need to make it work with 1 and 1 if possible

you need to go to the parts store and thell them you need a 3-wire to 2-wire Tail Light Converter like this ... all stock step sides fron california step side had to have these to make the lights work

you will not get them to work with out it ... the lights will not get the right signal for the operation you want it to perform

Thats weird. I know when I hooked my lights back up I had to figure it out and rewire them. I wanted my stop turn in the same lense but it didn't work right. My brakes worked but when i used the blinker both r and l blinked even though I was using one or theother. Ended up using the tail and brake in one anf the turn signal separate. Fooey 8O

The circuits have to be rewired for the brake, turn, and running lights. Instead of each having its own filament, two operations will share the same line. The circuit on the turn signal switch will not be correct now. The running light circuit would be routed through the turn signal common. We would have to draw it out.
