How rare are they to get? I have a quote, on getting it cast, from a company in California. the only set back is the price and I am sure it will be a high price, but it can't hurt to check.

I have only seen one chevy luv in my whole life that had a custom valve cover...and if memory serves me correctly, it was hand-made by the guy that owned the truck in his boss's machine shop.

But it did have a chevy bowtie on the top....lol

I've never heard of or ever even seen any aftermarket one's for a stock Luv 1.8 engine.

I thought about taking an extra one and cutting out the Isuzu part and welding in a new piece with a Chevy bowtie in it, and then having it chromed...but my budget can't afford it.

Just out of curiosity...how much would they charge?

Maybe if we can get enough people interested in getting one...they will make us all a deal. It can't hurt to try.
