Well I made mounts for the console today got all the wiring working, just waiting on door jam switch’s to show up. Before anyone asks the hump or ridge is for the wirers so they don’t bind on the adaptor plat for the rear of the console

its out of a Honda late 70's cvcc this one came out of a 77 even though this is a 78 style but look in the accords also they are hard to find but they are out there and if you see one on eBay you may want to pass i have seen them go for over $150 but at the yard it was only $20 I think but $20 or under... here look and see http://www.1stgencivic.com/1stgeneratio ... nsoles.htm

door jam switches showed up will try this weekend to get them in unless i have a slow day before then... i like these switches stock size but self adjusting so when you put them in and close the door the first time they adjust to the space required to operate properly then they lock themselves down , nice and easy if you ask me

Where did you get your switches from? I got some from http://www.partsexpress.com a few years back and found the stock mikado holes were metric and my switches were a close, but standard thread. I'd like to replace the ones on my 77, but I don't want to just crossthread them in or retap the holes.

Also, those partsexpress switches are starting to fail in my Trooper, exposed to the rain and dirt too much I guess. It would be nice to find something with a weatherproof boot it you have run across anything like that.
