Does anyone know if a door with a window wing and one without are the same other than the glass. I have a door off a 77 that has window wings and I'd like to convert to one piece glass. The doors on my 80 are rotted away at the bottom and since I have the others Id like to use them, but I dont want the wing windows. Any help here would be appreciated. thanks

Darrell

Does the windshield and rear window cross between these two as well. The 77 has a sliding window in back id like to use. The windshield is in good shape and the one in my 80 is cracked..

I think the main question is can you take out the wing window on a older door and put in the full glass hardware from a newer door. I am not sure but would figure you could swap the interals from door shell to doorshell. Not just swapping complete doors. Guess there is only really one way to find out is to jump right into it unless someone here has done it previously. As for the windshield and back window, yes they will work on any 72 to 80 cab. Good luck!

Thanks guys thats what I was hoping for. Id really like to use the sliding rear window in my 80, and Ive got two good solid doors off a 76 or 77. Ill let you know how the glass swap works

I have a decent set of doors on my truck, if you could wait a little while. I am putting on a set with the wing glass, but it will have to be after it warms up some. It hasn't been above freezing in a week, and I don't have a garage. :(
