I was wondering if you can swap the 3 hole gauge panel for the 2 gauge panel? Or replaced the panel with anything else? Wood, new plastic sheet, aluminum or? I want to put some aftermarket gauges in it.

Richard

While I will do a whole dash swap in the future(right) I want to get it going and be able to drive it again.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Going from 3 gauge to two, I believe will fit fine, but I think you will have a few small problems like the speedo cable attaches differently.

I think my Speedo cable is too short anyway. It is not hooked up anyway and I have spent the time to check it out. I wish it would stop raining for a few days. That doesn't look ;ike that will happen anytime soon/

All sorts of little sh  t need to be done...

Richard

Thats what I am talking about. Both look good.

nascar44 looks like he has the Recaro seats I want to put im my Luv, old GTI seats. I have them in my 92 GTI 16v VW.

I even found sheet Black ABS plastic on ebay Aluminum that would work too. My truck had AC, but no more. I was thinking about going all the way covering the old ac vent. I need 18"x5" to cover all that
