Are the spindle nuts on a drum setup a self locking nut or a castle nut?

Hmmmm, if I remember right the ones I swapped on a 72 to a disc had the the nut you put the cotter pin through. They sure weren't typical lock nuts They might have had the piece that goes ocer the nut and you bend down the tab. Just can't remember for sure.

It's a castlated cap that goes over the nut. The cotter pin keeps everything in place. Here's a pic of what it looks like. This isn't the right size for a LUV though.
