Very carefully
I you have a barrel full of time you can use a spot weld cutter but even then some are tuff to get to. I cut mine with a sharp air chisel then ground off the sharp edges the strip of metal with the spot welds are still on the truck but when i tear down the truck this next and last time i will spot weld cut them off. Don't try to chisel them off as you will tear holes in the metal of the cab and core support. Go to the general forum under pics from the Idaho breakfast and you might be able to see how mine are done well i think you can.
