That antenna looks neat. is there a write up in the works for it? I'd like to try that myself.

Would luv to put one of those flip gas caps on my Luv. But new one's are sure expensive. Where did you get yours. If it's from another vehicle which one? I don't have a step side, just a standard bed. Great looking truck(s)

off eBay for $20 , just pull up ( flip gas cap) and watch them you should get one for $15 to $ 40 not the $100 and up but you will have to be patient it took me about a month or to two get one at a price I was willing to pay

As we live in the NW what effect do you think the rain would have on the antenna? Since the rain would go straight down the hole.

the hole is sealed so it would be like any other power antenna car.... the water will go down the antenna and drain out of the bottom threw the tube located there , so all i have to do is get a longer tube and run it threw the cab to drain

Hi CTMANdu,
I looked at your pictures on yahoo. It looks like you repaired some of the Dashes on your trucks. Can you share some of the details on how your repaired them?

well mine is new from Australia $635 spendy... the other one was easy just found a good dash that wasn’t cracked on the bottom but only on the top then put leaterlike material over the top part, then I changed it to carpet on top with the leather in the middle to give it a little style, it was just all glued down.. I see dashes all the time where the top is trashed but the bottom half is ok ... just be careful when you pull the dash not to rip the bottom part and you will be fine. Was going to put a dash cap on it and them make a fiberglass mold but never got to it on of these days ill do that then we will have a full dash cap that people can afford
