Hello all,

I had a thought when I saw my Dad's 79 sitting next to my 75, I love the two headlight look. I don't know what it is, but I need it. So I was wondering, has anyone ever tried or succeeded at switching out the two front ends ? Any info, or part information would be the chilly.

What I think I need is Bezels, grille, bumper. . . an other parts that I missed ?

Thanks

And headlight buckets.
Usually it's the other way around. Swapping out for a 4 headlight system over a 2 light setup. You'll need to drill a couple of holes to mount the buckets but it is an easy mod. Use the 3 wire headlight connector and just seal up the 2 wire connector and get it up out of the way.

Yeah for some reason I just think the 2 headlight looks cleaner for my old school look.

So headlight buckets, what piece would that be ? And then the 3 wire switch is so I can have highs-lows on the same light, ya ?

Thanks,
-A

The buckets are the metal tins that the headlights sit in. They have springs and screws for adjustment. They also have the tabs to attach the benzels.
And yes. The 3 wire connector will allow for both hi and low beam for the single light assy. Dont cut off the 2 wire connector. You can use it for driving lights later on if you want. The thing about that would be that the driving lights would only work when you hit the hi beams.
