Heres an update. I have started on the plate Im using to make the jig with. Im taking it to work tomorrow to cut holes in it for the upper crossbar bolt holes and for the lower balljoint holder. These have to be cut with the CNC plasma at work since the plate is 8mm thick AR508 armor plate.

I will work on the upper arms this week probably late in the week. I have 2 other projects I have to build this week before I start on this.

Look for pics here later in the week.

Ok I had the jig base plate cut on the CNC today. It now has the holes for the upper and lower arms and also the upper crossbar bolts. I can now add the tubing and start making the stops that hold the tubes.

Ill have pics by this weekend unless I get some orders that have to go.

If this will pull my front wheels in to stock or narrower then stock I would love to get a set to install. As of now my front tires are sticking out too wide, the place I got my front rotors from put a plate on the outside and it makes my tire assembly stick out 3/4" from stock. I would love to suck it in an 1" to 1 1/2".

Update,

I have just been busy with all the orders ahead of these. It appears that I may have time today or later in the weekend to do the uppers. I already have the main plate of the jig made. Its just a matter of bending some tube and making the uppers.

Im holding off making the lowers until I see a truck in person to evaluate the suspension mounting. I need to know 100% for sure what diameter tube to use in the lower frame and how wide I can make the lower arms.

Look for an update tonight or tomorrow (saturday the 27th) on these.

Ok I have the jig plate up on my stand and Ive been working on it. I cant show my jig in any pics. I also made all the bushing sleeves. I also made the area on the jig for making the crossbars as well.

I have to bend some tubes in the morning and drill the balljoint plates and then I will be welding these uppers together. I will have pics tomorrow.

I need the guy that sent me the stock parts to make sure and email me his address so I know where the first set is shipping to.

I do also need to see a truck in person to make sure on the lower tube diameter. Ill find a local truck and get that part wrapped up.

Ok heres the pic of the completed uppers.

The balljoint in the center is an S-10 upper balljoint. I only had one that I use for templates and such in the shop. Ill get new pics as soon as I go get some new balljoints.

Let me know what you think.
