The Idea is ease of the kit.

sorry there is something im a little confused on here. you said 299 gets everything needed for better brakes and 5 lug. but then instructions/part #s for all other items. what items are you talking about here?

list of what parts are to be used in event of replacement. or if you wanted to upgrade, what is compatable. Instructions tell you where and what size to drill holes, assemble kit, etc etc.

i was just poking around autozone.com and even just for (2) rotors, (1) set pads, (2) calipers for a stock setup is $210.95 before tax. so if you need new brakes ... its definitely worth the $299 to fully upgrade to more modern/better braking.

i was weighing the cost. its for sure worth it and im gonna do it as soon as i can.

i may have missed this somewhere ... do we have to provide our own balljoints in the standard kit?

Absolutly! thats the whole idea of the Kit. to make the stock system obsolete.

negative, kit comes with ball joints pre pressed in. only difference, grade of joint.

this applys to ALL KITS. there is procedure to pressing the joints in so they dont crush.

A.j.

UPDATE: 11-1-2010

There has been alot of demand for the kits. My Machine is down due to my own working it too hard. the wait time might be as much as 8 weeks until I can recover from my mistakes. Also I didnt have a good supplyer of the stock parts and there was some licensing issues over the patent of the Kit I had to get around. These Items and there likeness are now Copyrighted to MS&C Racing of Lost Causes NM.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING IS A ROYAL PAIN. Customs dont seem to like my reboxing of items. this is on hold until further notice.

how well do your kits work with the power of a v8. im intrested in your kits and would your 299 kit work well with this. the truck is bagged also, im mainly going to be messing around on the street but i might do a road a course twice a year would this kit be the right one for me. and the rotors in the 299 kit do they have the drilled and slotted rotors or could i have that upgraded in my kit. what about after market calipers would they mount with your kit or no. thanks i will be in touch with you when im ready to purches. and what all am i going to need to the rear of my truck also? and could i order a set of rotors from you for the rear.

I am very interested in your disc brake conversion kit and the coil over kit as well. I need to know a complete kit price. I just put all new hardware under the front of my luv, back on the factory drum brakes. My luv is V8ed so I hope the kit will work. Please send me the info so I can get started on it. Thanks.

Well, I was educated today! The mill is still down, Bummer..so until the DR is ready, because of the cost of parts which I fully understand. Just wish he would of posted an update for us. His last was 11-01-10 maybe 8 weeks, It's 02-24-11. I think this is 16 weeks no up date! Till today I'm glad to pass this on to fellow LUV owners, who should be greatful there are any parts available at all. So, I'm taking it until he posts NO PARTS TILL THEN!!!!!!!!!

You know... He doesn't HAVE to sell anything to anybody. He doesn't HAVE to post updates. He doesn't work here. He doesn't work for you.

I'm sure when there is an update to be posted, if he wishes to sell the kit anymore he will post it.

Chill. Or go make it yourself. Or get someone else to.
