LOL So I take it you like pie aswell...sorry lol

Yeah The Upper and Lower control arms where basically untouched

Lower arm was "smoothed" ( Currently Un-photographed )

Upper drilled for the 4 tiny bolts that hold the ball joint ( Also Not Done To The Driver Side In These Pics )

That Kinda Looks Bad On My Part

But the mysteries will all be solve with more pics. so the cats and the cradle and the silver spoon, little boy blue and the man on the moon as my wittiness I will try to solve all current speculation with pics.

Consider making the plates and the lower parts and a very detailed instruction manual and part list and sell it.

well i know for sure, that if you started marketing your little deal there, i bet aerospace would buy it from you for ALOT of money.

theres are alot of people that are lookin for a simple, cheap and easy way of converting to a common 5 lug pattern.

you could be making some bank in the near future man...

sweet action man!

i probably wont be the first to buy from you though. i dont have alot of extra money these days, but if you do make a couple sets, save some for me. i would apprieciate it!

one more question on the swap though.

what are you doin for the brake lines since your going american to metric?

I Haven't Look Into That To The Fullest Extremes But I Believe The Stock Ones Will Work They Look Like The Same Size Hole Just The Head Of The Bolts Are Diff

If Not There Are Great Company's Out There Like Wilwood & Russel Who Offer Steel Bradded Lines Which Be The Way I'll Prob Go I'll Test That Out Tomorrow By Bleeding The Brakes And Seeing It They Will Hold. Prob Even Keep Them On For The Trail Run To Test It Aswell For Results.

I'll Have To Measure But It Looks Close In Other Words

You can cut the brake line and use the nut from what ever way you want and reflare it IE; metric nut will fit american tube and vise versa this how my brake lines are made to fit the metric hoses. But soon i am going to use Russell braided lines as you have better braking than with rubber hoses.

I also would take a pair of the lower ball joint plates.

Shawn, If you want I can host a website for you of this entire process. I have an unlimited amount of bandwidth on my server. Just let me know.
Just HTML code up a page with the pictures and I can throw it up for you.

Going through it I have the following list of parts needed:

1. 2 S10 spindles
2. 2 S10 upper and 2 lower ball joints
3. 2 S10 tie rod ends
4. 2 S10 rotors and disk brake calipers
5. 16 high grade bolts/nuts/washers (to mount ball joint plates to the A arms)
6. Heavier duty brake lines

Let me know if I missed something

Shawn-newbie here- but have been following the thread on your conversion and it looks like it is definitely the way I'll be going, too.
Already found s-10 stuff yesterday, but didn't pull it til I could look at your pics closer. You really ought to knock out some sets of the plates, go ahead and put me in line for a pair. Skeeter
