I know people are always looking for replacements from the Luv front. I had a 1/2 ton chevy frame clip and tried to see if there was any to make it fit. Spindles and A arms combo were too long. (wide)... No ones really cares if it uses the Luv spindle or not.... Cost is one of the big things. We know someone has to make money.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

I think once people buy the kit, install it and use it, they are going to be pretty darn happy with it. I'm just bummed that nobody like Mike came along and did this 20 years ago. That would have been nice.

Does it move the wheel mounting out farther than the Luv setup?

The answer to your question: It will move the wheel 1/2" in on each side so a total of 1" narrower track width with the MPRE kit installed.

FYI - MPRE is still working on both the bolt-on 5-lug front disk brake kit and the bolt-on rack and pinion kit for the LUV truck. Pics of the rack and pinion should be up in the next couple of weeks. Please keep the input coming so we can continue to gauge interest in these kits. Once we know there is a decent demand for it, the kits should become available pretty quickly after.

I haven't talked to him in a while but I'm sure the prototype rack mount is probably done. As far as cost, I don't know that yet either. I hope to know something in the next couple weeks though.
