well i was just hoping to get around the whole emmissions deal. but it doesnt look like thats going to happen at all. so i look at it like this its easy to do a build up but not so easy to do one and have it pass all the smog stuff, all of this is my fault i didnt put real catalitic converters in it from the get go. i knocked all the stuff out of them and it causes the truck to run a bit richer. so my next game plan is do a bit of trading with a friend of mine for some new cats and get some tags back on my truck for now, because i miss my little truck something awful.. im also doing a build up of a 57 cj5 myself should be intresting since im stuffing a 454 markIV engine in it all my buddys are laying bets on how fast it will kill me, and i think one is giving odds haha bet ill be the only one who has a coffin with a flame job...

Here in NC anything 95 and older are just a safety check and no emissions check other then a look over to make sure a "Bodied" cat and muffler are there. And anything older then 30yrs old dont have to have to be inspected and anything 35yrs old and older dont even have to be taged just got to have say if its a 70 Cuda, put a 70 tag on it and you're good to go. I got a 95 S10 now with a 780hp 406 in it and has no cats and its up to date but it helps that i know some people and can get a sticker for it and not leave the shop with it.
