That 240Z dash i bet would be fairly easy to make fit as well as the Fiat The 59 Chev. would be cool but i bet it would be allot of frustrating work to get it in right and you only get one shot at it.

I was thinking of a custom dash, but after relacing my dash with the part from Aus. I am happy with the look.

The main problem with custom dash work is finding a dash that will closely fit the curve of the cab. That 240Z dash looks like it would be real close and has room to modify for a factory type fix. If i was building another truck i think i would give it a try.

here is a picture of m 68 VW square with a chopped top.
I am waitihg to rebuild my Porsche 1.8l. engine and later putting my real 2.0 with the 3 bolt heads on my Porsche... Needs help with the Valve seats as sooner or later. Several shops I would trust to do this. You drop one and boom, there goes $3000.00 to as much as $20k
on it Use the link to find a picture of it. I am going to look for more, Or just go out to my clutered shop and take new ones

That a nice VW you got and the top looks like the chop was just the right amount. If you put that 2.0 motor in that thing is going to be a little rocket.

What started as a stock 1600cc SP evolved ito a 2054cc Turbocharged, water injected beast on skinny tires.

I sold it to one of the trainers of the Chicago Cubs for a fraction of what I spent on it.

Restored from a $400 hipee junk mobil from Hunnington Beach, CA.

I also converted it to one piece side glass. It is 2 piece side windows stock.
It is a almost a copy of KidDean's car. His dad is a well old school hotrod 51 merc choptops Dick Dean. He build a bunch of movie cars. The one that comes to mind, because I just saw it, was the "car" in Damantion Alley. Kid (Dick Jr) worked with his dad till he simi retired. Dick Jr is now involved in Motorcycles.

I emailed them and had a nice chat on the phone. The Car(squareback) is in Houston, owned by a guy who owns a surf shop. They did a build up in Hot VW's when he was building it. This is the car with the SewFine interior.

I think I just might be able to do the dash what ever it turns out to be. 8)

It almost ended up with a 2.0 wasserboxer (waterboxxer) spare that I had.

It came real close, with the stock FI or a dual carb setup from the UK
