1.65 60' is cool . What kind of times has it run so far? Silly question, but how would the 8* be measured ? Mine is bolted up but I have not set the pinion angle yet. I have the clamp on style traction bars and I think i'm going to fab the to the shock mounts also. I'm going to be trying to launch this thing with 235/60/15 BFG or mickey T drag radials. Thanks for your input.

I measure it with the truck sitting on level ground with an angle finder sitting on top of the pinion. That sould be a good starting point. I started at 5* but it wasnt enough had to much twist with stock springs. Have to warn you about the clamp on style slapper bars, they have to much slack you cant get them tight enough. Also I think it is negative degrees but I may be wrong the pinion should be pointed slightly down. That way when you launch axle wrap causes the axle to rotate upwards when it does that the driveline should be straight. The truck has run several 7.40s in the 1/8 on mickey thompson sportman pro 28-10.5-15

I'mplanning to weld a tab to the front of the bars and use one of the clamps as a guide/ restrainer at the front to help prevent unwanted axle wrap on deceleration .
