well i was thinkin about how cool the stepside luvs look and i was thinkin how cool it would look on my pup. when the gen 2 luv came out the frame didnt change right? well wouldnt a stepside bed from an older luv just drop on then? i know i would have to change the gas cap or just move it to the other side. any imput will help

the stepside box was a one size fits all so it will work on your luv . you will have to do what we did when my son found a bed for a datsun to put on his luv, remove the bed mounts by cutting the welds (the ones on the bed) place the mounts on the frame put the bed down mark and reweld the mounts to the frame. here are some pic of luv2 when it first came out and to do it fast they used the old style fender and put on 914 fender flares.

wow, that truck looks sweet. so i would have to move the mounts on the bed even if i went and found an original luv stepside bed?
