you have the wires wrong. the
red needs to go to the
ignition not the cig lighter. the cig lighter is a constant power wire, you will not be able to turn the stereo off.
tap into a
ign wire with the
red wire, run a ground, usually yellow is the color for the constant power. orange could be it, put a fuse on it and run it straight to the battery, possibly the cig lighter may work but it's a lower amp fuse and may not run your stereo.
the
orange ill stands for the illumination. if you want your stereo lights to dim with your dash lights hook it up to the light switch, if you don't it doesn't matter, it will just stay at it's max brightness.
the
dark blue is a antenna, no need for hookup
blue w/white stripe is a constant rem for a amp if your going to be running one. 3 wires to a amp- rem, power wire, ground.
not sure on the
att but it's not needed for the stereo to work
as long as it's grounded, you have a ign source (red) and a constant from the battery it will work. btw, the reason there's a constant is to keep your memory, clock working, Make sure to put a fuse on it. if something happens and you don't, you'll blow the stereo
btw, what part of cincinnati are you in ? thats my hometown, hopefully i'm moving back someday. colorado sucks ! i lived right on the border of springdale and sharonville, went to princeton high school. that's a nice area.
