Hey all, i need some help from those of you who have installed a body lift, what shift boots will work with a 4x4 Luv that has a 3" body lift installed. as you well know the original ones are worthless and i'm tired of critters(bugs mice, stuff like that) getting into the cab of my truck, if any of you guys can help me out on this that would be great!

I have a 2 Inch lift on my Luv. I think You can just get an aftermarket boot, where it screws into the floor to make it secure. Measure the hole in the floor and then check the meaursements on the boot when you are in the auto supply.

That is what I did on my 79 with 2inch lift. The prior owner had cut a jagged hole around the shifters, so I had to be creative putting it in, but it worked. I also had to cut out the center hole of the aftermarket boot to match the LUV shifter handle. I eventually made a boot for the 4x4 shifter out of the sleeve of an old Levi jacket to cover it better and give it an easier time moving around. The small boot I had was a little too restrictive.
