Ok i know this topic has been on here a hundred times i'm sure but....
I have a '79 4x4 that i want to put a roll cage in. I was wondering if the cage from jegs works good, and advantages or disadvantages to have a 12 point or 4 point or any in between. Do the front points in the cab go through the dash. Any pics of the cage would be helpful or suggestions of other places to buy a cage. I'd build my own but i don't have a bender.

I've had a four point in my 73 and it was really tight getting inm and out of and I'm a small guy "5 9 150. So if its your daily driver you may want a swing out door bar. Also the bar that runs behind the seat limits how far you can move the seat back.

I have the roll cage from jegs and will sell it to you cheaper than you can purchase it from them if you are interested.
