What kind of things can you do to the rear axle to get a couple inches of lift without an axle under conversion? I've got a $0.05 budget.

Right now I have 225/70r14 tires under it and they fit just right, maybe a little too small, and my dad has a set of 235/75r15 he wants to give me if I can make 'em fit.

I notice I've still got plenty of space to adjust the torsion bars, but the truck is barely level now and I can't think of a way to pick up the. . .

I already have a full three inch shackle lift btw. I think my springs are worn out, but can't afford new ones.

Thanks alot,

Alrighty, I'm guessing from the staggering number of opinions that I'm outta luck til I put the axle on the other side of the spring. That's ok, had planned on doing it in the future anyway, just hoping to find a decent temporary solution. Thanks guys.

I put on leaf spring helpers. They are about 35-40 bucks though. It has 3 settings you can use for height.

By leaf spring helpers you mean what exactly? Are they shackle lifts or something else? If it'll give me a couple inches it might be worth it. I don't mind a stiff ride.

they connect to the bottom of the leaf springs to give a little pressure upward to bend the springs. they should help alot. especially with a heavy bed :)

Add-A-Leaf...... Commonly used to fix the stock Toyota "Saggin' Ass"... A good helper, but I still say go ahead and pop the axle under the spring and add a lift block..... If your U-bolts are long enough, get a couple pieces of aluminum that are the same size and make a couple of blocks of your own....
