Got the radiator mounted today, so I will add pix of that tomorrow. I will also be rebuilding the inner fenders tomorrow with some sheet metal I found at the junkyard.... I gotta figure out how to get the hood to open sideways as the radiator took up the space for the original hinges.. I am also going to start taking the other body off tomorrow. Hopefully I can have the swap done within a week (considering I only get to really work on it for an hour a day before I got to work), and then any work that isnt loud between 12 and 4, then sleep..... Worst part about it, as you can see from one of the pix, I hadda cut the housings for the light to bolt to. Yes the radiator is that big, it kept a big block cool with no fan...

I have had the swap done for the most part for a couple days.... I just haven't had a chance to take more pix or finish the wiring.... I did start the wiring today, but couldnt tell if I got it right or not as I have a dead battery..... I had one headlight with a little bit of orange on the coil, but nothing that could be seen without absolute dark (way dead batt)... http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/action ... dless_body Remember, this went from single headlight w/no firewall to dual headlight with full firewall.... I had to move the motor forward a total of 4". Also, anyone have any idea exactly what make and model that boat is??? Got a couple people argueing against the name on the title (which I dont remember). I know it is a 17'1" boat which was made in 1971. Port (left) side steer, deep-v, spear shaped with a rolled stern.

Got 90% of the bugs worked out, and got the body rattle canned white (got tired of calico). The main problem I am having is the dimmer of the headlights....... I can dim them, but its on the light switch instead of the dimmer switch..... I turn the ign. on and the parking lights are on.... pull the switch out one, and the lows are on, twice and the highs are on.... I am completely stupified by this.... Somewhere in my rewiring the entire truck, I managed to get only lights wrong, oh wait, thats the only thing I wired in......lol.... Engine does fine with pushbutton start and straight wiring from the ignition..... Oh and the batt had volts but no amps?????? She runs good now, exhaust being redone (6th time) today.....

Hey Rick, would you be interested in all that stuff I had for sale???? I sold one fender for $30 to some dude that wanted it real bad and just handed me the cash, so the rest of it can go. I got what I was asking for the whole lot.... Mikado steering wheel and all that gotta go, no charge.......

Chris I would like the steering wheel. Mine has a small chunk taken out of it. I am not sure what else you have. I finally got the last body part I needed, and that was the Valance. I got lucky and found one on a luv the wrecking yard just brought in. We went on vacation to Kansas, and I took my pickup just in case I could find a tailgate or valance. Scored the tailgate. If you have parking lights that would be great. Thank you for asking. Let me now what would be a good time to pickup the parts.

I might be taking my truck to Meridian on tuesday or friday (depending on my days off this week). If I am able to go over there, if we can work out a time and place, I will bring all the parts over..... My truck is legal to drive in Idaho and Oregon now that I fixed the lights, so I can take it to Boise every now and then when I can afford the gas... But I gotta go to Home Depot soon to buy some stuff to fix up my house.....
