Put an elec pusher fan in front of the radiator, and move the trans cooler to a remote location with a small elec fan. You can get a cooler/fan combo through many nationwide auto shops.

Yep, pusher is between the grill and radiator. The valance is notched cause the fan is a little thick. You could probably get a thinner one. Just make sure it will move alot of air. As for the trans cooler, mine is under the bed with it's own small electric fan.

You can get the fans pretty much at any parts store, or from JC whitney, jegs....

I've had one that was themostatically controlled and one on a toggle. I must say I prefer the thermostatic one, I've had a couple of close calls from forgetting to turn it on.

thanks .actually my heating problem was .as to be expected with 4.88 /5500 stall.......732 hp on street...but after adding mor electric water pump and big griffin radiator, went via the roof...well my luv is tubbed ....running 32 x18 tires and moving the tranny cooler in all honesty is not an option.no room /truck sits low for launching with 4 link and with 3.5 stainless steel exhaust =which they practically are 2 inches at most from the ground.... :(

I have seen guys mount their trans cooler as an actual part of the hood. they cut a square out and put in what appears to be a small cowl induction scoop to allow the air to pass through without forcing water or junk down in it while driving. If you have a remote batt location, you could do this above the stock batt location (again with a small elec. fan). Just make sure to give yourself enough hose to allow for opening of the hood, or you could do pretty much the same thing except put the mount as part of the engine compartment and have it sit flush when the hood closes, having the cooler at hood level.....

im going to mount my tranny cooler under the truck. my buddy has done this and it seemed to work fine. I will be monitoring it with a temp gauge.
I will let you peeps know how it does when I finally get it on the road.

Lookin through Jegs catalog, they have a frame rail trans cooler. Narrow and long, might be something to look into...
