Does the wiper knob just twist off of the switch or is there some trick? I'm twisting but it feels like it's going to break if I twist any more.

If your just talking about the knob there is a small set screw on the bottom.

Thanks, I figured there was something I was overlooking. I just bough a set of the illuminated switch panels from a '72 but the knob on my wiper switch is in much better condition.
