 Post subject: Rear Wheel Clearance

Will a 15x8 with 4.75" of backspacing and a 245/60/15 mounted clear the rear on a stock truck? In my search the only discussion involved 10.5" slicks and the consensus seemed to be 4.5" was about the max (after smoothing the frame) with those beefy slicks. Thanks for the help.

The upper shock mount where it comes through the frame need to be messaged for clearence . Been a long time since i looked at a stocker . Driverside axle will be the first to go . A fleetside will take more tire than a step will though .
