i need help on how to wire my dash gas gauge corect , every thing else works great i have a 1972 luv base 2wd thanks :)

i seen that diagram ... thanks.. the thing is that on the back o my gauge cluster their is a is some type of regalator that i dont how to hook up .. :(

I think one side is 12 Volts and the other is regulated down to 6 volts to the gauge. The ground comes from the sending unit.
