Stock leaf springs? stock location? I looked and I wasnt clear on that so I am just making sure. a 275/60/15 is what I want to fit, I am wanting to build the truck for a local stock suspended drag radial class

Stock suspension is interpeted different ways . I cut the rear axle to 52" wheel mount to wheel mount had caltracs and split monos ran a 4 " backspace 15 x 8 wheel . A 28 x 10 or 275 / 60 will fit and looks like this with stock springs and slapper bars .

The question is a bit openended.

It all depends on the offset of the wheel.

If you change the diff to something a little wider and a 5 lug pattern you could fit all most anything under the back.

With the stock diff i think you are limited to 4 inches of backspace.

Cheers, Bob.

i ran what they call a true 10 which is a 29.5x10.5 on a 8 inch rim on the stock supension/stock rear end, it fit just a tad better that chevy toy. i never had an issue with tire rub on the outside and it only rubbed on then inside when i made the sharp u-turn to hit the return road at the track...soft side wall flex.

28/10.5/15 will fit but it slightly rubs on the frame rails. We just dinished notching our frame rails next on the list is to move the spring perches in 4 inches on each side. We are gonna have the 275 on a 10 inch wheel

and to flare the fenders to look stock ish you can use a wood baseball bat that is what we used it the old days and it works great the more you push down the more flare just take your time and drive the truck slow you need a buddy to help you out

I am trying to get away from the rolled fender look. i want a tire that fully tucks in the bed with out sticken out the side. I would not mind rolling it under with the bat trick either.
