where might a person find new rear springs? when i put my truck back on the road im going to have rebuilt suspension, brakes and steering. if im luck i might get around to doing a power steerimng instal, too.

Parts trucks come to mind, and you'd be surprised how many springs JC Whitney has. However, if all else fails I've been told that a company called Eaton Detroit Spring out of Detroit, MI has the drawings for just about every spring ever made and that they make and sell springs. Since LUVs are Japanese, who knows but if you get stuck try calling them.

Check in your area for a truck spring shop. They can rebuilt your originals to anything you like. I have all my race springs built locally to my specs. If you want to drop it just a little, approx 2", have them make a set with reversed eyes.
