I am in the process of getting the new turn indicator lights in my dash hooked up. I can't seem to get any power going through the column and back out to the signal wires. I looked at the diagram and checked the color codes and such but i can't find were the power goes in at.
My dash lights I put in work fine. I know there has to be power go in somewhere into the column then back through the switch and flashers.
The wiring diagram is kinda hard to follow from page to page. I would have thought the red wire in the harness coming out of the column would be the power in. I can't get my test light to show anything coming out at each r or l turn plus I can't get my high beam indicator light to come on.
Any suggestions.

not sure what series you're working with.. series 8 diagram shows to have a light green (2), dark green(1), red(4),and red/ yellow(3) numbers indicate number on harness/connector... Red should be power in r y should be switch leg, light green should be running lights..and it all ties in to the headlight switch and turn signal switch.. hope this helps

Thanks a bunch. Got my high beam working and hoping the power feed will also get me power to my signals. I had a power wire from the headlight switch unhooked. Didn't know that is were the turn signal switch got its power also.

Will check the rest today. Might be on a roll I hope. Got my alternator bracket made and the alt back on for a trial startup to see if it will keep the belt on. Get the turns signals working I can bolt the front back on and see if it will run down the street.
