could i take the solid front axle from a later toyota model and convert it onto my 80 luv? it looks like it almost has the set up for leaf springs but i was just wondering if anyone has done it.

Swap the toyota rear in while you're at it. Pretty simple solid axle swap, depending on your fab abilities
