does anyone know of any way I can lift my luv other than a body lift or cranking the torsion bars?

spring conversion using toyota front and rear end or you could go big and put a dana 60 in the front and a 14 bolt in the rear, it all depends on what size motor you are going to use.Otherwise you cant really lift it at all unless you put a huge body lift and that will look retarded.I would go to the 4wd and offroad forum for more info.

How about some rear leaf spring shackles, they're easy to make if ya know what your doing. The hardest part is getting the old shackles out of the old hard rubber bushings they set in after ya unblot them. The shackles I made are 8" tall wich raised the rear end about 3.5 to 4 inches from stock. But yes a 1 inch body lift will make a huge difference. watch out for your steering column and radiator when doing a body lift, really puts things in a bind. I have pics
