Does anyone know if a 2.6 liter out of a Isuzu Trooper fit in place of the stock 1.8 in a chevy luv. If not does the 2.3 or 2.2 or the S-10 1.9?

the 1.9 should be a straight in swap, but I believe the bigger motors require some mods to get installed. 800Xl and rezkid could probably answer most of your questions.

You can put any engine in a Luv truck. All it takes is time money and know how. I'll be doing two engine swaps in my Luv Truck. First is the buick 3.8 ltr 231 V6 with a 200 trans with some go fast stuff to see if I can blow it up and then I will put in a 350 chevy V8, with a 700R4 trans.
