 Post subject: wanna rebuild a 9" ?

hey i found this site by punching in ford 9" specifications and thought it might help someone. the site is http://www.ford-trucks.com when you get there go to tech articles and go down to ford 9" rebuild. i only went a little ways but it looks like a neat place to go get some help.

Same as above in full: http://www.fnc.ch/Technik/9-Inch_rebuild.htm There's an easier way to remove the axles than to beat the axle flange to death with a hammer. Use 2 bolts and nuts between the axle flange and the backing plate/axle housing. You still may need to use a hammer but your less likely to do any damage. I can send a drawing that explains how to do it.
