For anybody interested, I have a basically stock luv except for it has a 307/350 combo in it, and I went and got it weighed yesterday. The only deviations from stock are no back bumper and no spare tire. At the scales it came in at 2700# even with no driver and 1/8 of a tank! That is lighter than my buddy's tubbed lexan windowed Nova used to be, and the luv still has the bench seat and iron intake and everything!-----let's hear it for the LUV!!! LOL
:P

My stock motor 77 with spare and about half tank of fuel tipped the scales at about 2700 minus the driver. I carry a bunch of crap with me though, tire chains, some tools, bed liner made out of a big heavy industrial belt.

There was a thread about this not too long ago, check it out at http://forums.luvtruck.com/viewtopic.php?t=9034
