I'm new here and I'd like to know if anyone makes a swap kit to install a 2.8L V6 and automatic from an '85 Camaro into the Chevy LUV. Any info is appreciated.

Autofab seems to have a few install kits. I think they have one that will work for you. They may not have the kit listed on their web site but you can give them a call.

I would recommend that you read the article we have in the information section of the web site called "LUVTruck.com's V8 Engine Swap Article". It has some good information to get you started. Feel free to ask more questions here if you need more help.

Quantrx,
I would uggest finding another engine to use. The 2.8 v6 is a notoriously crappy engine. They were plagued with constant reliability issues, and compete blow ups, their entire life in the camaros, mini blazers etc.
Look for a 231 buick or a 4.3 Chevy for your swap, and i believe you will be much happier down the road.
Phil
