Alrighty i was looking at the LUV diffs and the trooper diffs and they seem to be a bit diferent. I havent done anything side by side yet but heres what i think i saw...
The Trooper diffs mounts whith nothing but nuts. The axle housing has studs coming from it. On a LUV diff the first thing i noticed was the bottom two bolts. The run quite a distance through the carrier (looks like they are about 8-9" long) and also theres only 2 studs on the LUVs housing, the rest are bolts. Thats not a big deal, the big deal is those bottom two bolts. That tells me one of two things, Either a LUVs axle pinion comes in lower in the carrier or its housing is smaller. So i realy dont know what im dealing whith here anymore.
