I was doing some clean up today on my truck I just pulled the motor and trans out and found that my Right side exhaust manifold is cracked. Im thinking about switching to headers now. What headers will work in a LUV with a sbc and clear everything?

Please do a search, this topic comes up all the time. Two choices, block huggers or hooker headers that are made for the LUV.

actually3 choices... Hedman Husler fenderwell's for S-10 but this option is really critical on how ur motor is positioned and is also the most expensive option. Its also geared towards a high perf - full race application as the primary header tubes are 1 7/8" or 2"

I was hoping the block huggers would fit. I found a pair through summit I am probably going to order monday. Im not really a big fan of headers for street use but I guess its a cheap alternative for now if I cant find another ram horn in good shape.

you notice the section is called "Drivetrain Upgrades. Discussion about engine swaps and related drivetrain component upgrades such as transmissions and rear axles.

I think I have a set of ram horns, I am not ever gonna use. If so, and you still need em, maybe I will bring em to the meet!

just keep in mind, there are 2 kinds of ram horns. the ones with the 2" outlet are the ones you want to use on a performance application.
