I just did a search at http://www.napaonline and came up with a tad bit of info. you can buy the speede cable wire by the foot in .130 and .150 od.
I measured my 76 speedo cable and its .120 od. I also found atool for swaging ends on cables for $0.49 and cable ends. Does anybody know whitch end might work or a shop I can send my cable to to have it done cheaply. have listed the napa parts as followed. I need to convert mine to hook to a th350 trans!!

I think I fugured it out. I ordered napa p/n BK 6151823 cable repair kit! It was only $1.99 , I think it will do the trick.
