An updated pic of my conversion..

The project started here a few weeks ago.
http://forums.luvtruck.com/viewtopic.php?t=773&highlight=

Since then, I installed a 3" body lift and got the body back on. It ended up being
taller than I expected. The bed is just setting there, because I'll need
to remove it again for some work on the rear spring perches.

Painted the engine compartment, headers and front frame section.

Modified the front shock towers for some Rancho shocks.

The hood scoop is not going to be on it. A friend of mine just stuck it up there
to be funny. I do have a 70's Pontiac Trans Am scoop I'm thinking about using.

I found some aluminium bumpers at the wrecking yard that I think I'll use. They're
from an 80's Fiat X-19. The curve of the front bumper perfectly matches the
curvature of the Luv front end.

I'm going to be taking a week off from the Luv project. I just bought an '88 S-10
2WD Blazer that' screaming to be lowered and have a few other things done to it.
I won it at State government auction for $1086!!. Original paint, maintenance
records, and only 70,000 miles. It'll be sittin' ON the ground this week.

The tires on it now are 33X12.50X15. They're about 1/2 worn out, so they measure
31" tall. The rims are 8" wide.

I'm on the lookout for a used set of 36" Boggers that fit my budget and some
10" wide aluminium wheels.

4.10 gears.
