i hit the search button, but the page just hangs an dnothing comes up, i was just curious if anyone played around with the idea of swapping in a GN motor or something simliar, looking to get soem ponies and decent gas milage. thanks in adnvance. was also wondering if its a realistic goal to purchase a stepside (pre-smog 1972-1974) and get th eturbo v6 swap in there and drive down the road for less than 4k. thanks again. BTW im located in Madera california wich is about 20 min north of fresno.

I have no idea how much the GN engines go for but i would guess ALOT, just like the cars. If your willing to look and wait you can probly find a LUV truck for $500 or less. Less if you dont care about how it runs. As far as stepsideds, those are rare on LUVs.
