Well i got the caddy. So i now have a strong running 425 big block caddy whith an allison hydramatic 425 tranny. The thing is in exelant condition 60,000 original miles 8O Its almost going to be a shame to tear apart this thing. But not before i drive it some, this weekend its going to spokane whith me and when i bought it i drove it about 100miles. They arent kidding when they say caddies are smooth. 8)

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

nope i was mistaken, it has a th400. So the line up for this guy will be a blown 425 caddy, 400tranny and a spooled 9" whith 4.10gears. Its going to be my little suicide machine!

ive got an issue of HOTROD magazine where they put a caddy 500 in a chevette. they only spent like 2200 bux on the whole project too. the thing ran 12s in the quarter mile.

i might suggest that you dont run 410s though. caddilac motors redline at about 4800rpms. in the chevette project they put a mustang2 rearend in it with 3.00 gears. with the 410s youll be revved out at the 1/8 mile.
