my manual says that the series 11 and 12 have a first gear ratio of 4.13
and the others have a 3.79. the trans look the same in an exploded diagram what is the diffrence? i would like to know cause i am building an off road vehicle out of my luv and would rather have the 4.13 first. thanx matt

the number of teeth on the gears( input to counter shaft and countershaft to first gear) divide drive into driven gears to get the ratio. I'm not sure it there is any exterior designation on the case
